Role Description The Duty Manager role at PVRINOX Pictures is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurgaon. The Duty Manager oversees day-to-day cinema operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth functioning of box office, concessions, and auditorium services. This role coordinates staff schedules, supervises front-of-house teams, and supports facility upkeep to maintain high standards of customer service and safety. The Duty Manager monitors operational procedures, handles guest queries and escalations, and ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role also involves reporting shift performance, supporting promotional activities, and collaborating with management to enhance the overall guest experience.
Qualifications
Experience in hospitality, retail, cinema, or entertainment operations with strong customer service and people management skills.
Ability to supervise shift activities, manage teams, and coordinate with multiple departments in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities, with a calm and professional approach to guest issues.
Basic knowledge of cash handling, ticketing or POS systems, and adherence to safety, security, and compliance procedures.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in hospitality, management, business, or a related field is preferred.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per cinema schedules.
Prior experience in a supervisory or shift management role is an advantage.
