Role Description The Assistant Security Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for supporting the implementation of security protocols at the cinema premises, including monitoring entrances and exits, overseeing crowd management, and ensuring compliance with safety and emergency procedures. The Assistant Security Officer helps protect guests, employees, and company property by conducting regular patrols, identifying potential risks, and reporting incidents promptly to senior security staff and management. The role includes coordinating with operations teams during high-footfall periods, assisting in emergency response drills, and maintaining accurate security logs and incident reports. The Assistant Security Officer also supports training initiatives to promote a culture of safety and adherence to company policies.
Qualifications
Experience in security operations, facility protection, or safety management in hospitality, retail, or entertainment environments.
Knowledge of basic security procedures, access control, crowd management, and emergency response protocols.
Strong observation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to assess and respond to potential security risks calmly.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests, colleagues, and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
Ability to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by cinema operations.
Physical fitness sufficient for standing, patrolling, and responding quickly to incidents on-site.
Integrity, reliability, and a high level of personal and professional ethics in handling security-related information and situations.
Prior experience in a similar role or relevant training/certification in security or safety is preferred.
Basic knowledge of local language(s) and good command of English for clear communication and report writing.
