Job Summary
We are seeking a Fabrication Associate to join our advanced precast manufacturing team. Unlike grueling, traditional outdoor construction or field "rod-busting" roles, our facility is a fully sheltered, indoor environment. This position features a clear, multi-stage career path where you can build specialized manufacturing skills over time. We provide 100% fully paid on-the-job training. Candidates with basic blueprint or shop drawing reading skills are highly encouraged to apply and will be fast-tracked into advanced training stages with premium starting pay.
Job Responsibilities
Learn structural designs, reading basic setup layouts, and mastering the assembly of structural reinforcement cages using automated, battery-operated tying tools with precision jigs
Layout complex cage structures and operate radius and angle-bending power machinery
Operate automated shear line - measuring, cutting raw materials to exact length, and kitting components for the production floor
Place pre-cut steel components into precision fabrication jigs for rapid assembly
Use lightweight, battery-operated automatic tying tools to secure structural cages consistently
Progressively learn to operate radius benders, angle benders, and automated shear lines as training milestones are met
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe indoor shop environment
Follow basic plant safety guidelines, quality inspection standards, and production schedules
Job Requirements
No prior experience in construction, rebar, or manufacturing is required; we train you from day one
The ability to read basic blueprints, shop drawings, or bend sheets is highly desirable and will fast-track your progression through our training stages
Strong reliability, consistency, and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to handle standard indoor manufacturing tasks comfortably - standing, lifting up to 40 lbs.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Compensation
The hourly pay rate is $21-24/hr
