Position Summary

In this hands-on role, you’ll work under the guidance of our Shop Foreman to fabricate and repair metal components using both electric and acetylene welding methods. Key Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently cut, lay out, fit, and weld sheet metal and other metals or alloys to fabricate or repair equipment
Interpret blueprints and follow detailed instructions for daily projects
Perform repairs and plant maintenance using grinders, wire brushes, cutting torches, and other welding tools
Fabricate parts and components as needed with welding machines and oxy-acetylene torches
Conduct pre- and post-inspections of equipment and vehicles, ensuring compliance with company policies
