Position Overview
Located in Atlanta, GA, CRH Americas Materials Corporate Finance is currently recruiting for the position of Staff Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic and professional team in a changing environment with considerable scope for learning and development.
Key Responsibilities
Debt Statement Processing – including preparation of debt statement journals.
Process weekly back office expense approvals via Concur for three corporate entities.
Prepare weekly general ledger entries related to employee T&E expenses.
Bank deposits and related journal entries.
Assist with monthly bank and GL account reconciliations.
Backup for manual ACH/Wire payment processing and supporting schedules.
Assist with preparing company allocations.
Assist with internal and external audit requests.
Other duties as directed by the Finance Team.
Assist in ongoing process improvement and automation.
Maintain professional demeanor at all times while representing the company
Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance
Minimum 1 year of experience working in accounting in a Corporate environment preferred
Work Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
18 years in age or older
Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
Willingness to work independently within in a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required
Willing to travel and work away from home when required
