Job Summary
The ideal candidate in this role will fabricate steel molds for concrete which involves the use of hand and power tools, welding operations, and lifting tools.
Job Responsibilities
Fabrication of steel from parts using various cutting equipment and welding parts together per specifications
Completing vertical and horizontal arc and MIG welding
Using oxygen and fuel torches to cut steel
Using industrial steel tools such a vertical band saw, drill press, grinders, etc.
Job Requirements
At least one year of experience in steel fabrication
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
Ability to read fractions and a tape measure
Ability to read shop prints
Understanding of basic use of hand and power tools
Maintenance experience preferred
Compensation
The hourly pay rate is $19/hr.
