Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Navi Mumbai. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts, prepare mood boards, and create detailed space plans for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors; preparing construction drawings and specifications; and selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) that align with design intent and budget. The role involves site visits, measurement and verification, overseeing implementation to ensure design quality, and managing project timelines and documentation. The Interior Designer will also participate in client meetings, present design proposals, and incorporate feedback into final solutions.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate client requirements into functional, visually cohesive layouts.
Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to read, prepare, and coordinate technical documentation with project stakeholders.
Experience with FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials that balance design quality, durability, and budget.
Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic visualization tools.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, and site teams.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Prior experience in residential or commercial interior projects in India, particularly in or around Navi Mumbai, is an advantage.
