Meet the Team
Core to the health and growth of our business, Millennium’s active, multi-manager model depends on flexible, scalable technology and advanced proprietary systems, including the development of next-generation analytical and trading capabilities. This role sits within the Asia Infrastructure team and the Follow The Sun network engineering function, a global team responsible for engineering, automating, monitoring, and supporting high-performance networks with demanding uptime requirements. The team partners across infrastructure disciplines including Data Center Management, Windows, Unix, Cloud, Information Security, and virtualization, while supporting colleagues across the US, EMEA, and APAC.
What You'll Do
Engineer, operate, and implement enterprise network solutions across market data, low-latency execution, data center, backbone, desktop connectivity, corporate Wi-Fi, and remote office environments
Support high-performance networks with stringent uptime requirements using modern network technologies and disciplined operational practices
Act as an escalation point for critical network issues and help drive timely resolution of complex production challenges
Partner with global engineering teams to address key network priorities and advocate for the needs of the APAC region
Implement global network standards and contribute to automation frameworks that improve deployment and operational efficiency
Provide L2/L3 operational support across a broad enterprise networking environment
Mentor junior engineers and help strengthen team capability through knowledge sharing and hands-on support
Identify opportunities to improve, streamline, and automate network operations processes
What You Bring
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a technical network engineering role
Strong technical ownership and the ability to operate effectively within a global organization
Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering teams and infrastructure disciplines
A strong operational mindset, with a commitment to mentoring junior engineers and improving team processes
Deep knowledge of BGP, with working knowledge of OSPF and IS-IS
Strong experience in trading network implementation and operations, including provisioning connectivity to exchanges and counterparty B2B connections
Understanding of low-latency technologies and how latency can affect trading strategies
Knowledge of multicast-based market data delivery; experience with data center networking, WAN engineering, network security, cloud networking, automation, or performance monitoring tools is a plus
