Role Description The Store Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Store Manager will oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and ensuring the store layout and displays support sales and brand standards. This role is responsible for leading and supervising store staff, setting shift schedules, monitoring performance, and fostering a collaborative, customer-focused environment. The Store Manager will handle customer escalations, maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, and ensure that all service standards and company policies are followed. Additional responsibilities include tracking store performance metrics, implementing retail loss prevention measures, managing cash and compliance procedures, and supporting local marketing or promotional activities.
Qualifications
Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with the ability to manage escalations and build long-term relationships.
Effective Communication skills to interact with customers, lead store teams, and coordinate with regional management.
Hands-on Store Management experience in a retail environment, including supervision of staff, inventory control, and sales tracking.
Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to safeguard inventory, manage cash handling, and ensure compliance with company policies.
Proven leadership skills, including team coaching, performance management, and the ability to motivate staff toward sales and service goals.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and comfort working with basic retail software and point-of-sale systems.
Previous experience in retail, preferably in consumer goods or kitchen appliances; experience as a store supervisor or assistant manager is an advantage.
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, retail management, or a related field.
