Role Description The Assistant Branch Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mandla. The role involves overseeing daily branch operations, supporting the Branch Manager in achieving sales and collection targets, and ensuring compliance with NBFC policies and regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities include supervising loan processing activities for vehicle finance and personal loans, guiding branch staff, monitoring customer accounts, and resolving customer queries in a timely and professional manner. The Assistant Branch Manager will also contribute to business development, maintain strong relationships with customers and local partners, and prepare periodic reports on branch performance and risk management.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of lending processes, particularly in vehicle financing and personal loans, and familiarity with NBFC operations.
Proficiency in branch operations management, including supervision of staff, workflow coordination, and adherence to regulatory and company policies.
Solid interpersonal and communication skills to manage customer relationships, address concerns, and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
Basic financial analysis skills, including assessment of loan applications, evaluation of creditworthiness, and monitoring of portfolio performance.
Ability to work on-site in Mandla, manage multiple priorities, and make sound decisions under time constraints.
Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business administration, or a related field.
Prior experience in banking or NBFC branch operations, sales, or collections is highly preferred.
Comfort with using computers and standard office software; experience with loan management or core banking systems is an advantage.
