About the Role
Supernova Learning Centre is looking for a passionate and dedicated Foundation Maths Educator to teach Grade 5 and Grade 6 students. The ideal candidate should be confident with core mathematical concepts, enjoy working with young learners, and be able to make mathematics simple, engaging, and application-oriented.
Key Responsibilities
* Teach Mathematics to Grade 5 & 6 students with strong conceptual clarity.
* Build strong foundations in arithmetic, algebra, geometry, fractions, decimals, percentages, and problem-solving.
* Design engaging lessons, activities, worksheets, and practice exercises.
* Identify students’ learning gaps and provide individual support.
* Encourage logical thinking, reasoning, and real-life application of mathematical concepts.
* Track student progress and communicate feedback to parents when required.
* Maintain a positive, disciplined, and engaging classroom environment.
* Collaborate with the academic team to continuously improve teaching practices.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree completed — B.Sc., B.Ed., B.A., B.Com., or equivalent.
* Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Mathematics.
* Experience teaching Grade 5 & 6 / Foundation-level Mathematics preferred.
* Strong command of fundamental Mathematics concepts.
* Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
* Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and student-friendly manner.
* Passion for teaching and working with young learners.
