Role Description This is a remote internship role for an HR Management Intern at Laneway. The intern will support day-to-day HR operations, including assisting with recruitment activities such as sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews. The role involves maintaining HR records, helping with onboarding documentation, and supporting employee engagement initiatives and internal communications. The intern will contribute to HR policy documentation, basic compliance tasks, and preparation of reports or presentations for HR leadership. The position offers exposure to HR processes in a fast-paced consulting environment and opportunities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
Foundational HR knowledge, including recruitment processes, HR documentation, and understanding of basic employment practices and compliance.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with candidates, team members, and stakeholders in a professional manner.
Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, video conferencing platforms, and HR-related systems).
Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying process improvements.
Demonstrated interest in Human Resources, Business Management, or related fields; current enrollment in or recent completion of a relevant degree program is preferred.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a diverse, cross-functional team.
Prior internship, project, or academic experience related to HR, consulting, or start-up environments is an advantage but not required.
