Role Description The Architectural Draftsman role at configoo spaces is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The Architectural Draftsman will prepare detailed architectural and construction drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and layouts, based on design concepts and project requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include translating sketches and specifications into accurate technical drawings, coordinating with architects, designers, and project teams, and updating plans as designs evolve. The role also involves ensuring drawings comply with relevant standards and regulations, maintaining organized project documentation, and supporting planning and design reviews with precise, timely deliverables.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings for detailed project documentation.
Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Architecture and Planning to support functional and compliant space configurations.
Candidates should possess proficient Drawing skills, including technical drafting and interpretation of design concepts.
Proficiency in CAD and related drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools) is highly beneficial.
Diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site in Hyderabad.
Prior experience in interior layouts, space planning, or commercial/residential projects is an advantage.
