Team members collaborate closely from concept to final delivery, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency across projects.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Lucknow. The Video Editor will assemble raw footage into polished documentary videos, including cutting scenes, arranging sequences, and aligning audio and visual elements to support a clear narrative. Daily responsibilities include color grading, adding motion graphics and basic graphics, syncing and cleaning audio, and ensuring all content adheres to brand guidelines and platform requirements. The role involves collaborating with producers, directors, and scriptwriters to refine storylines, manage project timelines, and prepare final exports for upload. The Video Editor will also organize and maintain media assets, implement feedback efficiently, and stay current with video editing trends and tools.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and the ability to work across the full lifecycle of a documentary project.
Candidates should possess strong Video Editing skills, including experience with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and enhance the overall look and mood of each documentary.
Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, simple animations, and visual elements that support storytelling.
Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work on-site in a collaborative team environment.
Relevant experience in documentary or long-form video editing is beneficial, along with familiarity with YouTube content standards and best practices.
A diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
