Procurement Manager

About the Company
A Fortune 200 global organisation is setting up its Global Capability Centre in India and has partnered with Flexiple to hire its founding procurement team. This is a ground-floor seat at a company investing seriously in India, with the scope to shape how buying runs from day one. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India.
Role Overview
As a Procurement Manager, you will own the end-to-end purchasing cycle across categories - from demand intake to purchase order - and build the buying processes the centre will scale on. You will balance cost, quality, and delivery while giving leadership a clear view of spend.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Buying
Run sourcing, RFQs, and supplier selection across direct and indirect categories
Negotiate price, terms, and delivery to hit cost and savings targets
Manage the purchase order cycle from requisition to goods receipt
Supplier & Spend
Build and maintain a reliable supplier base and track performance
Report on spend, savings, and category trends for leadership reviews
Tighten procurement policy, controls, and approval workflows
Ideal Candidate Profile
3 to 7 years in procurement, purchasing, or sourcing roles
Strong negotiation skills and a cost-and-quality mindset
Comfort with ERP or procurement tools and spend reporting
Clear written and spoken English and a reliable remote-work setup
Preferred Qualifications
Experience standing up procurement processes in a new team or centre
Exposure to a GCC, shared-services, or large multinational environment
A degree in supply chain, engineering, or business, or a relevant certification
