About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Rangmanch Farms is a 20-acre resort and events venue about 40 minutes from Delhi via the Dwarka Expressway. We host corporate day outings, family days, annual days, MICE events, offsites, weddings and social celebration events — with rooms, lawns, 80+ activities, in-house catering.
We are hiring an Event Manager to run our events on the ground, end to end.
You will coordinate work between the sales team, client, vendors and our in-house property teams.
If you are at an event company or a wedding planning firm today, here is the honest pitch: one venue instead of ten scattered client sites, no pitching for business, in-house stability, and full ownership of the show from brief to teardown.
What you will do
• Plan and run events end to end - internal Rangmanch organised events, corporate outings, family days, annual days, MICE, weddings and social events
• Coordinate with corporate clients before and during their events, and be their single point of contact on event day
• Manage event setup on the ground — layouts, stage, sound, seating, and coordination with our F&B and operations teams
• Book and manage anchors, DJs, artists and performers
• Handle event production and decoration — plan the decor, get it fabricated, get it installed on time
• Prepare decor concepts and reference boards for social events, and take approvals from the founder
• Find and manage decor and fabrication vendors — rates, timelines, quality
• Coordinate print collateral with vendors — design approvals, printing, delivery
• Share event photos and moments with our marketing team for social media
• Jump in wherever an event needs on-ground support — that is the nature of this job
Who should apply
• 2–5 years in event management — at an event management company, a wedding planner, or hotel/banquet operations
• You have personally run events on the ground: setup nights, vendor chasing, last-minute changes, showtime pressure. Tell us about them when you apply.
• Good Hindi; working English
• Ready to work 6 days a week at the property. Events happen on weekends, so weekends are working days and your weekly off falls on a weekday.
• Own vehicle preferred; travel for vendor visits is reimbursed
Please read before applying
This is an on-ground role. Event days are long, and you will be on your feet — at the stage, at the gate, at the decor wall — not coordinating from a desk. If that is the part of events you love, you will enjoy this job.
