Role Description The Guest Relations Executive is a full-time, on-site role based at the Club Mahindra resort in Madikeri. The role involves welcoming guests, managing check-in and check-out processes, and ensuring a smooth, pleasant experience throughout their stay. Responsibilities include handling guest queries and feedback, coordinating with reception and other departments, and resolving issues promptly and professionally. The Guest Relations Executive will support customer service and sales activities by promoting resort services, experiences, and membership benefits, while maintaining accurate records and adhering to resort standards and policies. This role requires a strong presence at the front desk and public areas, with a focus on courteous interaction, timely assistance, and consistent guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
Strong Guest Relations and Customer Service skills, with the ability to create positive, memorable experiences for guests.
Clear and professional Communication skills, including fluency in English and local languages, and confident face-to-face and telephone etiquette.
Experience in Sales and upselling, with the ability to promote resort services, experiences, and membership offerings to guests.
Competence in Receptionist Duties, including check-in/check-out, reservation handling, and basic administrative tasks.
Previous experience in hospitality, hotels, or resorts is preferred; fresh candidates with strong interpersonal skills may also be considered.
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with hotel management or reservation systems are beneficial.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and maintain a professional, welcoming demeanor under pressure.
Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is an advantage.
