Role Description This is a part-time, remote General Physician role focused on providing high-quality virtual primary care and clinical guidance within MantraCare’s AI-driven ecosystem. The General Physician will conduct teleconsultations, review patient histories, order and interpret diagnostic tests as appropriate, and create evidence-based treatment plans aligned with company protocols. Responsibilities include coordinating care for chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across mental health, MSK, and nutrition, and documenting encounters accurately in digital systems. The role also involves supporting continuous improvement of clinical workflows, offering input on AI-enabled triage pathways, and providing education to patients on prevention, wellness, and self-management.
Qualifications
Clinical expertise in Medicine and Primary Care, with the ability to manage common acute and chronic conditions in a virtual setting.
Background in Family Medicine or similar broad-spectrum practice, with strong skills in comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Understanding of Nursing workflows and collaboration with nursing and allied health teams to coordinate integrated care.
Experience or interest in Training, including educating patients, mentoring clinicians, or contributing to clinical protocols and best practices.
Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) with valid licensure and good standing in relevant jurisdiction(s); board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is preferred.
Prior telehealth or digital health experience, including comfort with electronic health records, remote monitoring tools, and AI-enabled systems.
Strong communication skills, cultural competence, and commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory care for diverse populations.
Ability to work independently, manage a flexible part-time schedule, and collaborate effectively in a distributed, multidisciplinary team environment.
