Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Support – Freight Forwarding role based in Mumbai. The position involves supporting the sales team with quotations, rate inquiries, and follow-ups for export and import freight movements. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with operations and documentation teams, preparing proposals, maintaining customer records, and tracking shipments to ensure timely updates to clients. The role requires regular communication with customers and overseas partners, resolving service-related queries, and assisting in developing new business opportunities. The individual will also help prepare sales reports and ensure adherence to company processes and service standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Freight Forwarding and Forwarding to support end-to-end logistics solutions.
Candidates should possess skills in Export and Freight Transportation to manage international cargo movements effectively.
Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to handle client communication, queries, and issue resolution.
Relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain support roles is preferred.
Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with internal teams and global offices.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office and basic documentation processes.
Ability to work on-site in Mumbai and collaborate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
A diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, commerce, or a related field will be an advantage.
