Role Description The Financial Research Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Guwahati. In this position, the analyst will collect, analyze, and interpret financial data related to the company’s operations, market trends, and competitor performance. Daily responsibilities include building financial models, preparing regular reports and dashboards, and supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. The role involves conducting research on industry benchmarks, pricing strategies, and investment opportunities to inform leadership decisions. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure data accuracy, and present clear, actionable insights to stakeholders in finance and business leadership.
Qualifications
Strong skills in financial analysis, financial modeling, and quantitative research, with the ability to interpret complex data and produce clear insights.
Proficiency in spreadsheets and analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, BI tools) and comfort working with large data sets.
Ability to prepare concise financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Solid understanding of corporate finance concepts, budgeting, forecasting, and key performance indicators.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related quantitative field; advanced coursework or certifications are an advantage.
Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial findings in clear, simple language.
Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site environment in Guwahati, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with HR-tech, SaaS, or employee engagement domains is a plus, as well as interest in behavioral science-driven business models.
