Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time leadership role based in Hyderabad, structured as a hybrid position with a mix of on-site work and work from home. The CFO will oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with corporate strategy. This role will involve preparing and analyzing financial statements, supporting board and investor communications, and providing strategic guidance on capital allocation, risk management, and business growth initiatives. The CFO will collaborate closely with executive leadership, departmental heads, and external stakeholders to support decision-making, optimize financial performance, and strengthen internal controls and governance. Day-to-day responsibilities also include leading finance teams, implementing financial systems and processes, and driving continuous improvement in financial efficiency and transparency.
Qualifications
Develop and execute the organization's financial strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, and statutory compliance.
Manage cash flow, working capital, investments, and financial resources effectively.
Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management and leadership.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls and risk management processes.
Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
Manage relationships with banks, auditors, investors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance requirements.
Support business expansion, investment decisions, mergers, acquisitions, and fundraising activities where required.
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, and financial leadership.
Professional qualification such as CA, CMA, CPA, MBA Finance, or equivalent is preferred.
Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, and compliance.
Experience in financial reporting, audits, risk management, and internal controls.
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in financial management systems, ERP platforms, and advanced Excel.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and growth-oriented business environment.
Expertise in IT Industry is Mandatory.
