Role Description The Business Analyst – E-Commerce/Retail will work full time on-site in Saket, supporting data-driven decision making across both online and offline channels. In this role, the individual will analyze sales, customer behavior, inventory performance, and website metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and improvement areas. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and documenting business requirements, mapping and optimizing business processes, preparing reports and dashboards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as operations, marketing, buying, technology, and store management. The Business Analyst will support the planning and execution of retail and e-commerce initiatives, recommend process and system enhancements, and assist in measuring the impact of new features, campaigns, and promotions. This role also involves communicating insights to stakeholders in a clear, structured manner to enable effective strategic and operational decisions.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and generate actionable insights.
Demonstrated experience in business analysis, including problem definition, solution recommendations, and stakeholder collaboration.
Ability to understand and improve business processes, including documentation, workflow mapping, and process optimization.
Experience gathering, managing, and translating business requirements into clear specifications and reports.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a concise, understandable way to diverse teams.
Proficiency with analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, BI tools; experience with e-commerce analytics is a plus).
Background in e-commerce, retail, fashion, or sneakers is highly beneficial, with an interest in streetwear and hype culture.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Data/Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment on-site in Saket.
