Role Description The Research and Development Chemist will work on-site in Quthballapur and contribute to the development and optimization of pharmaceutical formulations and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). Responsibilities include planning and conducting laboratory experiments, analyzing results, and documenting findings in accordance with regulatory and internal quality standards. The role involves method development, troubleshooting of chemical processes, and collaboration with cross-functional teams such as quality control, production, and regulatory affairs. The chemist will maintain laboratory equipment, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and support technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing as needed.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in organic and analytical chemistry, with the ability to design and execute experiments for pharmaceutical R&D.
Proficiency in laboratory techniques and instrumentation (e.g., chromatography, spectroscopy, titration) and accurate data analysis.
Knowledge of GMP, GLP, and relevant regulatory guidelines applicable to pharmaceutical development.
Ability to document experimental work clearly, prepare technical reports, and communicate results to multidisciplinary teams.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or a closely related scientific discipline.
Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the capacity to work safely and efficiently in an on-site lab environment.
Prior experience in pharmaceutical R&D or process development is an advantage, especially within API or formulation development.
