Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad for a Junior Draftsman and 3D Visualiser. The role involves preparing detailed 2D drawings and technical documentation based on design concepts and sketches provided by senior team members. The Junior Draftsman will assist in updating plans, sections, elevations, and construction details, ensuring that drawings comply with project standards and guidelines. As a 3D Visualiser, the role includes creating 3D models, applying materials and lighting, and producing rendered images and walkthroughs for presentations. The person in this role will coordinate closely with architects and designers, support revisions, maintain organized drawing files, and meet project deadlines while following internal quality standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong foundational skills in architectural drafting, including the ability to read and interpret drawings and translate design inputs into accurate 2D plans and details.
Candidates should possess hands-on experience with 3D modeling and visualization tools (such as SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, Blender, or similar), including modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering.
Candidates should possess proficiency in CAD software (such as AutoCAD or equivalent) and be comfortable working with layers, blocks, and standardized drawing templates.
Candidates should possess good understanding of basic architectural concepts, spatial planning, and construction terminology to support clear and practical documentation.
Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take feedback, incorporate revisions, and work closely with senior designers and project teams.
Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines in an on-site studio environment.
A diploma or degree in architecture, interior design, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred; internship or junior-level experience in drafting or visualization will be considered an advantage.
Familiarity with presentation tools (such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign) and a portfolio showcasing drafting and 3D work will be beneficial.
