Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Human Resource Intern at Laneway. The intern will support HR operations, including assisting with recruitment processes, scheduling interviews, and maintaining candidate records. Daily tasks may include helping to draft and update HR policies and documentation, assisting with onboarding and orientation activities, and supporting the management of employee data and benefits-related information. The role also involves contributing to personnel management initiatives such as employee engagement activities, maintaining HR databases, and preparing basic HR reports. The intern will collaborate with HR and management teams, learn best practices in HR administration, and help ensure a positive and compliant workplace experience.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) concepts and HR Management practices.
Understanding of HR Policies and exposure to Employee Benefits administration.
Ability to support Personnel Management, including maintaining accurate employee records.
Pursuing or holding a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and confidentiality.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, HR software is a plus).
Interest in learning about consulting, technology-driven businesses, and start-up environments.
