Role Description The Senior Civil Structural Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role involves leading and performing civil and structural design for solar , Bess and T&D projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications. The engineer will conduct detailed structural analysis, prepare calculations, drawings, and technical documentation, and review designs produced by junior team members and external consultants. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, and project management), supporting tender and proposal development, and resolving technical issues during construction. The role also involves attending site reviews, ensuring quality and safety standards, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to continuous improvement of design processes and tools.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering, with practical experience in solar and T&D projects.
Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design and Structural Analysis, including use of relevant design and analysis software and application of national and international codes.
Demonstrated Project Management skills for planning, scheduling, coordinating stakeholders, and overseeing project deliverables and timelines.
Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or related specialization is an advantage(or) Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Experience in design review, construction support, and coordination with site teams for large-scale projects.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical report-writing abilities, with attention to detail and safety standards.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
Familiarity with sustainable design principles, power infrastructure projects, or industrial facilities is beneficial.
