Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Product Designer role based in Mumbai. The Product Designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and refine architectural products from concept through final execution. Daily responsibilities include developing design concepts, creating visual specifications, conducting user and market research, and applying design thinking principles to solve functional and aesthetic challenges. The role involves translating customer and stakeholder requirements into innovative, manufacturable product solutions that align with Quba’s quality standards. The Product Designer will also work closely with engineering, production, and marketing teams to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and consistent with brand identity.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Product Design skills, with the ability to take concepts from ideation to detailed specifications.
Candidates should possess Visual Design skills to create clear, appealing, and brand-consistent product visuals and documentation.
Candidates should possess Design Thinking capabilities to approach problems creatively and deliver user-centered, feasible solutions.
Candidates should possess User Research skills to understand end-user needs and translate insights into product improvements.
Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Industrial Design, Product Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., CAD software, 3D modeling, visualization tools).
Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in architectural hardware or building products manufacturing is an advantage.
