Software Engineer – Production Support
Experience: 2–4 Years
ViaPlus is looking for a Software Engineer – Production Support to work in a .NET environment. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting and developing software applications using the .NET framework and related technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that align with the organization's software development goals.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain software applications using .NET, C#, and other relevant technologies.
Write clean, well-structured, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between different components or systems.
Scope customer issues by collecting relevant facts and investigate problems through research and collaboration with other teams.
Consult and collaborate with immediate peers, colleagues across locations, management, and engineering teams to resolve service issues.
Act internally as a customer advocate and ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
Empower customers to find information, self-solve issues, and better understand Microsoft products, services, and support.
Document technical work, troubleshooting activities, and research to help colleagues and improve the support experience.
Maintain a proactive approach to customer satisfaction, identify concerns, and manage customer expectations.
Take ownership of technically complex, mission-critical, or high-priority customer issues until complete resolution.
Use trace analysis, source code, logs, and debugging tools to analyze problems and develop appropriate solutions; may involve writing code.
Acquire and coordinate resources from other teams as required to resolve customer issues.
Work with databases such as SQL Server to design schemas, write queries, and optimize database interactions.
Write unit tests to ensure reliability and correctness of code using testing frameworks such as NUnit or xUnit.
Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues while optimizing system performance.
Work with clients to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and resolve technical issues.
Required Skills
Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in software development using .NET and C#.
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks such as Angular is a plus.
Familiarity with database design, SQL, and ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework.
Good knowledge of web services, APIs, and RESTful architecture.
Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex software issues.
Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Continuous learning mindset to keep up with the latest trends and technologies in the .NET ecosystem.

Qualifications
Any Graduate with B.E / B.Tech, MCA, or equivalent degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience.
Preferred: Women professionals with hands-on experience in .NET/C# Production Support and Tolling, FASTag, ETC, or Electronic Toll Collection domains.
