Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with 7+ years of software development experience to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of customer support applications. The role will focus primarily on backend development using Java and Spring Boot, with some involvement in frontend technologies.
The engineer will work closely with product, engineering, and customer support teams to build scalable, reliable, and high-quality applications that enable customer service agents to efficiently manage customer interactions and support processes.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Build and integrate RESTful APIs for customer support applications.
Develop and enhance applications used by customer support agents.
Work on backend-heavy application development while contributing to frontend features when required.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, security, and reliability requirements.
Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices, coding standards, and engineering processes.
Must-Have Skills
7+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Java.
Strong experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
Solid understanding of backend architecture, object-oriented programming, and software design principles.
Experience working with databases and developing data-driven applications.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Good-to-Have Skills
Experience with GraphQL.
Experience with TypeScript.
Experience with Node.js.
Exposure to AI/ML or Generative AI technologies is a plus, but not mandatory.
Experience with modern frontend frameworks and technologies.
Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD, and modern software development practices.
