Senior Solution Architect / Lead Engineer – Central Pricing Engine

We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect / Lead Engineer to drive the architecture and engineering of a strategic Central Pricing Engine for Private Banking.
The role is ideal for an experienced architect with strong Banking/Financial Services + Pricing/Decision Engine + Enterprise Architecture experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead solution architecture for a centralized pricing/decisioning platform.
Design scalable, secure and API-first solutions using Microservices and modern integration patterns.
Define architecture for pricing rules, configuration, versioning, simulation, approvals and auditability.
Drive integration with Core Banking, CRM, Risk, Finance, Treasury/FTP and digital channels.
Lead vendor evaluation, RFI/RFP, PoC and make-vs-buy assessments.
Define MVP, target architecture, NFRs and implementation roadmap.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
Key Skills
10+ years in Solution Architecture / Enterprise Architecture / Engineering
Strong Banking / Financial Services experience
Pricing Engine / Decision Engine / Rule Engine / Product Configuration experience
Java / Python with Spring Boot, FastAPI or similar
Microservices, REST APIs & Event-Driven Architecture
Cloud/Hybrid Architecture
Enterprise Integration & API Architecture
Scalability, Resilience, Security, Observability & DR
Architecture Governance and Vendor/RFP experience
Experience with Private Banking, Retail Banking, Wealth Management, deposits, lending, mortgages, investments, fees, interest rates or concessions will be highly valued.
