Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
Respond to inquiries from employees, candidates, and visitors who call or visit the Human Resources office, using clear and professional communication to effectively address their needs.
Assist employees, managers, and job candidates by providing accurate and timely information, answering routine questions, providing required forms, and directing individuals to the appropriate resources.
Escalate complex or sensitive employee relations matters, including complaints, grievances, or allegations of harassment, to the Human Resources Manager in a timely manner.
Monitor timekeeping records, meal and break period reporting, and attendance documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. Communicate any discrepancies or concerns to the Human Resources Manager.
Process payroll and serve as a liaison between employees, managers, and payroll master to resolve payroll-related inquiries and issues.
Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department, including filing and maintaining personnel records, preparing and distributing disciplinary action notices, processing Personnel Action Forms (PAFs), creating and maintaining new hire and termination files, and ensuring employee records are complete and up to date.
Prepare, distribute, and maintain HR communications, including memos, newsletters, flyers, announcements, and other departmental correspondence.
Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of Human Resources programs, initiatives, and special projects by scheduling meetings, developing materials and presentations, conducting research, monitoring project timelines, and following up on action items.
Maintain employee and applicant notice boards to ensure information is current, accurate, and compliant with company standards.
Ensure confidentiality of employee information and maintain all Human Resources records in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Controls locker assignments by maintaining written records of locker numbers and combination. Request in writing and discuss verbally repairs and key duplications for lockers as needed.
To design and prepare recruitment advertisements as required.
Assists terminated employees in exiting process by visually examining exit check list to ensure correctness, and visually offering exit interview form.
Any other tasks assigned by General Manager or Human Resources Manger.
