We are looking for an AI Engineer – Databricks with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Databricks and Generative AI. You will work on building enterprise AI and analytics solutions using the Databricks platform and its AI capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Build AI and Generative AI solutions using Databricks.
Develop natural-language analytics applications using Databricks Genie / Genie Spaces.
Build RAG applications using embeddings, Vector Search and enterprise data.
Work with Mosaic AI, LLMs and AI Agents to develop intelligent applications.
Use MLflow for experimentation, evaluation and monitoring of AI/ML applications.
Build, deployment and serving of AI/ML models and applications on Databricks.
Develop data pipelines and transformations using Python, PySpark and SQL.
Evaluate GenAI applications for accuracy, relevance, hallucination, latency and cost.
Work with Delta Lake and Unity Catalog.
Collaborate with data engineers and solution architects to build and deploy production-ready AI solutions.
Required Skills:
1–2 years of hands-on experience with Databricks.
Strong Python and SQL skills.
Working knowledge of PySpark / Spark and Delta Lake.
Hands-on or project experience with Generative AI / LLMs on Databricks.
Good understanding of RAG, embeddings and Vector Search.
Working knowledge of Databricks Genie / Genie Spaces.
Experience with MLflow.
Experience working with REST APIs and integrating AI/LLM services
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Frameworks & Tools: LangChain, LangGraph, REST APIs, Git, CI/CD
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Engineering or a related field.
Important: We are looking for candidates with hands-on Databricks/AI project experience, not certification or training alone.
