Role Description The Freelance Makeup Artist role is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore. In this role, the makeup artist will provide professional makeup services for photo shoots, video productions, events, and client engagements, ensuring looks are tailored to the project requirements and client preferences. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with clients on desired styles, preparing skin, applying makeup, coordinating with photographers and production teams, and maintaining hygienic tools and products. The makeup artist will also collaborate with stylists and other creative professionals, manage scheduling, and support brand representation for Sai Media Solutions during on-site assignments.
Qualifications
Cosmetology and makeup artistry skills, with a strong understanding of skin types, products, and application techniques.
Hair Styling abilities to complement makeup looks for photo shoots, video projects, and events.
Customer Service experience to consult with clients, understand their needs, and deliver satisfactory results.
Sales and client relationship skills to promote services, manage bookings, and support repeat business.
Training and mentoring capabilities to guide junior assistants or support workshops and demonstrations.
Strong attention to detail, creativity, and an understanding of current beauty and fashion trends.
Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore, manage a full-time schedule, and collaborate effectively with media and production teams.
Prior experience as a makeup artist in media, photography, or event settings; formal cosmetology certification is an advantage.
