Role Description The General Manager – Commercial Leasing will lead and manage the commercial leasing function, overseeing end-to-end leasing activities for office, retail, and other commercial assets. This full-time, on-site role is based in Bengaluru and involves driving business development, building and maintaining relationships with clients, landlords, and occupiers, and negotiating leasing terms and agreements. The role includes supervising day-to-day operations, monitoring portfolio performance, ensuring accurate financial tracking of leases, and aligning leasing strategies with broader business goals. The General Manager will coordinate with internal teams, mentor and guide leasing staff, prepare market reports and proposals, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The position requires proactive market scanning, pipeline management, and consistent achievement of leasing targets.
Qualifications
Strong leadership capabilities with proven skills in General Management and Team Management.
Experience in Operations Management, including process optimization and service delivery in a commercial real estate or related environment.
Solid understanding of Finance, including lease structuring, financial analysis, and revenue forecasting.
Demonstrated ability in Strategic Planning, market analysis, and development of commercial leasing strategies.
Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and client relationship skills.
Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior decision-makers.
Relevant experience in commercial leasing, corporate real estate, or property advisory; prior experience in the Bengaluru market is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
