Sales Coordinator
₹4 to 6 LPA, depending on experience and how you handle a client on the phone

We are a heritage high jewellery house with a legacy dating to 1789, now in our sixth generation, known for antique, heritage and culture driven pieces made entirely by hand in our own workshop. Our work was most recently seen on Netflix's Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, for which we made over 10,000 pieces, and across Bajirao Mastani, Kalank and leading couture platforms.
We are looking for someone who does not just make calls, but understands how to speak to a client who is about to buy something they intend to pass down.
THE ROLE
This is not a sales role, and we want to be direct about that from the start. You will not close deals, negotiate, or carry a revenue target. Our showroom team does that.
We receive a steady flow of enquiries from Instagram, our website and other sources. Your job is to call every one of them, have a real conversation, and get them booked in to visit us. Your measure is simple: how many enquiries turn into people walking through our door.
Call every enquiry we receive, the same day wherever possible
Understand the occasion, who the piece is for, and what they have in mind
Hold your ground, warmly, when a client says "just send the price on WhatsApp"
Book appointments and coordinate timings with the showroom team
Follow up properly with clients who did not answer, asked you to call later, or did not turn up
Keep clean records of every call, every outcome and every callback date
Brief the sales team before a client arrives, so nobody has to repeat themselves at the door
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Clear, confident spoken English, which is non negotiable for this role. Not perfect and not accent free, but able to hold a real conversation with an English speaking client without losing your footing
Warm, respectful Hindi, since most of your calls will be in Hindi and the tone matters as much as the words
The ability to read and write English well enough to take an accurate note and write a professional message
Genuine comfort with a high volume calling day, including the many calls that go nowhere
Reliability on the fourth follow up, which matters more here than being clever on the first
The honesty to say "let me confirm and get back to you" rather than inventing an answer, because we sell two hundred year old craft and a wrong word travels
Prior telecalling, inside sales, front desk, hospitality or luxury retail experience is an advantage. Jewellery experience is a strong advantage
We will train you properly on our craft, our products and how we speak to clients. You will learn jadau, polki, kundan and meenakari from the people who actually make it, and that knowledge stays with you.
How you sound on a call will outweigh years of experience. We are open to both freshers who speak well and coordinators with three or more years behind them.
