Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cloud Engineer role based in Chennai. The Cloud Engineer will design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions on aws, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Responsibilities include implementing infrastructure as code, configuring and managing Linux-based systems, and integrating databases with cloud services. The role involves collaborating with software development teams to deploy and optimize applications, monitoring and troubleshooting production environments, and contributing to automation, cost optimization, and best practices in cloud architecture.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Cloud Computing and Infrastructure, including experience with aws services and scalable architectures.
Proficiency in Linux administration and system management, with a focus on performance, security, and automation.
Experience with Databases, including design, deployment, and optimization of relational or NoSQL database solutions in cloud environments.
Knowledge of Software Development practices, such as scripting or programming (e.g., Python, Java, or similar) and CI/CD pipelines.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with networking concepts, security best practices, and monitoring tools for cloud infrastructure.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, communicate technical concepts clearly, and document architectures and processes.
Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) are an advantage.
