General Milling Machine Operator

🔧 WE’RE HIRING – GENERAL MILLING MACHINE OPERATOR
Auronix Tech Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced General Milling Machine Operator to join our Production / Manufacturing Team in Bengaluru.
📍 Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka
💼 Employment Type: Full-time | On-site
🛠️ Experience: 3–5 Years
🏭 Department: Production / Manufacturing
👨‍💼 Reporting To: Production Supervisor / Plant Manager
🔹 Key Responsibilities
• Operate and set up general-purpose / universal milling machines as per engineering drawings and work orders.
• Select appropriate tools, speeds, feeds, fixtures, and machine settings.
• Perform welding and fabrication activities as required.
• Perform plasma cutting and oxy-fuel/gas cutting operations.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Inspect components using vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, and other measuring instruments.
• Identify defects, machine issues, and perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
• Maintain 5S, safety, quality, and production standards on the shop floor.
• Maintain production and quality records and achieve daily production targets.
🔹 Required Qualifications & Skills
✅ ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Tool & Die, Fabrication, Welding, or related trade.
✅ 3–5 years of hands-on experience in general/universal milling machine operation.
✅ Practical experience in welding, plasma cutting, and oxy-fuel/gas cutting.
✅ Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
✅ Knowledge of precision measuring instruments and quality inspection.
✅ Strong understanding of machine and workplace safety.
✅ Willingness to work on the shop floor and in shifts as required.
✅ Punctual, reliable, and quality-focused.
