Job Description
8+ years of experience in data & analytics engineering
Deep hands-on expertise with Snowflake (warehousing, access controls, performance tuning)
Strong proficiency in dbt (models, tests, macros, exposures, and CI/CD integration)
Experience building and managing pipelines in Prefect (flows, tasks, deployments, agents)
Familiarity with BigQuery, including partitioning, clustering, and cost optimization
Proficiency in DOMO for data visualization and BI delivery
Advanced SQL skills; Python experience is a strong plus
Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD for data engineering
Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and Listrak is a plus
What They'll Do
Design and maintain robust data pipelines and transformation layers using dbt on top of Snowflake and BigQuery
Build and manage orchestration workflows with Prefect to ensure reliable and observable data delivery
Develop and maintain dashboards and data products in DOMO, collaborating with stakeholders to surface actionable metrics
Establish and enforce data modeling best practices, testing standards, and documentation across the warehouse
Optimize query performance and manage compute costs across Snowflake and BigQuery environments
Partner with analytics and engineering teams to define data contracts, semantic layers, and source-of-truth datasets
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of data quality and engineering excellence
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Data Engineering skills, including designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and integration workflows.
Candidates should possess Data Modeling and Data Warehousing skills to structure data effectively and support reporting and analytics layers.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
