In this role, your professional obligations shall be (but not limited to):
1. Planning & Scheduling
Update and monitor detailed project schedules using MS Project.
Track progress against the baseline schedule and highlight delays.
Coordinate with office teams to plan manpower, material, and machinery requirements.
Prepare DPR, WPR, and MPR reports, along with detailed manpower tracking.
Maintain proper records of approved drawings, drawing revisions, BOQs, specifications, material approvals, samples, site measurements and project correspondence.
Obtain regular progress updates, photographs and reports from project site and highlight delays, discrepancies or areas requiring management attention.
2. Billing & Cost Control
Prepare and process Running Account (RA) bills for contractors and subcontractors.
Verify measurement sheets (MB) against BOQ and executed work at site.
Check contractor bills and follow up for timely certification and payment.
Track project costs against the approved budget and highlight variances.
Verify variation / change order claims.
3. Contracts & Documentation
Maintain BOQ, rate analysis, and contract documents for the project.
Support preparation of material reconciliation statements.
Maintain records of measurement books & bills.
4. Co-ordination
Attend progress review meetings and present planning/billing updates.
Maintain professional communication with all stakeholders.
5. Risk Management
Timely Identify risks related to schedule delays and cost overruns.
Recommend and support implementation of corrective actions in coordination with the project team.
Required Technical & Soft Skills1. Technical Proficiency
Strong knowledge of quantity, BOQ preparation, and rate analysis.
Proficient in MS Project for planning and scheduling.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD for drawing interpretation.
Sound knowledge of billing procedures, RA bills, and contract documentation.
Efficient working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word & Power Point).
Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and costing is an added advantage.
2. Soft Skills
Strong analytical and numerical ability.
Good communication skills to coordinate with site and client teams.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Compulsory Language: Hindi & English
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
5–10 years of relevant experience in planning and billing at project sites.
Proven experience in industrial / commercial / infrastructure projects (plants, factories, warehouses, MEP-intensive projects).
Hands-on experience with MS Project and billing software is preferred.
