Detailed Roles and Responsibilities
1. Project Execution & Site Management
• Overall responsibility for site execution, planning, monitoring, and control of construction projects.
• Coordinate daily site activities ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
• Lead site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure discipline, productivity, and motivation of site teams.
2. Planning & Scheduling
• Prepare and monitor detailed project schedules in line with master plan.
• Track progress against milestones and take corrective actions for delays.
• Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, materials, and machinery.
3. Cost & Budget Control
• Monitor project costs and ensure execution within approved budgets.
• Review contractor bills, variations, and change orders.
• Highlight cost risks and support management in mitigation measures.
4. Quality Assurance & Safety
• Ensure work execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Implement QA/QC procedures and conduct regular inspections.
• Ensure strict adherence to site safety norms and statutory requirements.
5. Coordination
• Act as primary point of contact for site-level coordination with Client, Management, and Lead Coordinator.
• Conduct progress review meetings and present project status.
• Maintain professional communication with all stakeholders.
6. Reporting
• Maintain site records, drawings, approvals, and reports.
7. Risk Management
• Identify potential project risks related to schedule, cost, quality, and safety.
• Develop and implement mitigation plans in coordination with the team.
Required Technical & Soft Skills
Technical Proficiency
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project execution.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Efficient working knowledge of Planning Tools (MS Project / Primavera) & MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is an added advantage.
Soft Skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and decision-making ability.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Compulsory Language: Hindi & English.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience in site-based project execution.
• Minimum 08–12 years in a Project Manager / Senior Site Engineer / Project Lead role.
• Proven experience in industrial / commercial / infrastructure projects (plants, factories, warehouses, MEP-intensive projects).
