Role summary
We are looking for a senior Supply Chain Planning & Inventory SME to support a large-scale manufacturing transformation initiative. The role involves leading business workshops, defining capacity and inventory processes, developing functional requirements, and providing techno-functional guidance for SAP-based implementation.
Key responsibilities
Lead workshops with senior business stakeholders across supply chain, planning, manufacturing, and procurement.
Define and optimize processes for demand planning, inventory planning, supply planning, and manufacturing planning.
Develop business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications.
Drive solution design for demand planning & forecasting, inventory optimization, spare parts planning, inventory norms and scientific inventory calculations, safety stock and replenishment planning, MRP planning parameters, S&OP, DDMRP, and capacity and manufacturing planning.
Validate SAP solution design, configurations, and business process alignment.
Support UAT, business sign-off, and implementation planning.

Required experience
10–15 years in supply chain planning, inventory optimization, or manufacturing planning.
Strong expertise in inventory planning, forecasting, replenishment, and inventory optimization.
Good understanding of capacity planning and manufacturing planning.
Hands-on functional knowledge of SAP PP, MM, MRP, and inventory planning processes.
Experience in large manufacturing transformation programs and end-to-end SAP planning implementations.
Strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Preferred
Experience in automotive, farm equipment, industrial manufacturing, or heavy engineering.
Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, IBP, or APO.
Ideal profile
Senior supply chain planning consultant, inventory optimization specialist, manufacturing planning SME, or SAP PP/MM/MRP techno-functional consultant.
