Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Build and maintain microservices-based architectures and distributed applications.
Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs following industry best practices.
Develop secure APIs using Spring Security, JWT, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and secure user/service authentication.
Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and production-ready code.
Apply strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving to develop efficient solutions.
Participate in technical design, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
Troubleshoot complex application issues and perform debugging and performance optimization.
Ensure applications follow security, coding, scalability, and performance best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, DevOps, product, and other engineering teams.
Take end-to-end ownership of features from design and development through deployment and production support.
Requirements:
5-8 years of professional software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Core Java.
Strong knowledge of Java 8/11/17+.
Excellent experience with Spring Boot.
Strong experience in microservices architecture.
Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
Strong understanding of data structures & algorithms.
Hands-on experience with Spring Security.
Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, JWT, role-based access control (RBAC), and secure API development.
Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, exception handling, and multithreading.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Strong coding ability with experience writing production-grade applications.
Good to Have:
Experience with OAuth2 / OpenID Connect.
Experience with Kafka or other messaging systems.
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP.
Experience with JUnit/Mockito and automated testing.
