Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City for an Event Operations & Sales Executive with immediate joining. The role involves planning, coordinating, and executing hotel and resort events, ensuring smooth operations from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up. The executive will manage client communication, handle event logistics, oversee vendor coordination, and support on-the-ground event delivery. Daily responsibilities include driving event-related sales, preparing proposals, conducting site visits, and maintaining relationships with corporate and leisure clients. The role also includes collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to promote events, track performance, and contribute to revenue growth for the property.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship management.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and confident client interaction.
Candidates should possess Event Planning and coordination skills, including scheduling, logistics management, and on-site execution.
Candidates should possess Event Marketing skills, including promoting events, collaborating on campaigns, and supporting brand visibility.
Candidates should possess Sales skills, including lead generation, negotiation, closing deals, and achieving revenue targets.
Beneficial qualifications include prior experience in hospitality or event management, strong organizational and time-management abilities, and proficiency in MS Office tools.
A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred; relevant work experience in events or hotel sales will be an advantage.
Ability to work flexible hours based on event schedules and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams on-site.
