Role Description The Branch Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, responsible for driving branch sales performance and achieving business targets. This role involves managing and mentoring the branch sales team, setting clear sales goals, and monitoring daily activities to ensure consistent lead generation, customer engagement, and conversion. The Branch Sales Manager will oversee the implementation of sales strategies for products such as vehicle finance, home loans, and SME loans, while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing sales reports, coordinating with operations and credit teams, maintaining strong relationships with customers and local partners, and identifying new business opportunities in the region. The role also includes maintaining high standards of customer service, ensuring accurate documentation, and supporting branch-level marketing and promotional activities.
Qualifications
Strong sales and business development skills, with experience in achieving and exceeding branch or regional targets in financial services or related industries.
Proven team leadership and people management abilities, including coaching, performance monitoring, and building a high-performing sales culture.
Excellent customer relationship management and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle queries, resolve issues, and build long-term trust.
Solid understanding of retail lending products such as vehicle finance, home loans, SME loans, or loan against property, and familiarity with credit and operations processes.
Ability to analyze sales data, prepare reports, forecast performance, and make data-driven decisions to improve branch outcomes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and local languages preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Prior experience in branch management or frontline sales leadership, preferably in NBFCs, banks, or other financial institutions.
