Role Description The Sales Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The Sales Manager will oversee branch and regional sales activities, drive business growth for retail lending products, and ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets. Responsibilities include managing and mentoring the sales team, planning and executing local sales campaigns, and building strong relationships with customers, channel partners, and intermediaries. The role involves analyzing market trends, identifying new business opportunities, coordinating with credit and operations teams for smooth customer onboarding, and ensuring adherence to company policies and compliance standards. The Sales Manager will also prepare regular sales reports, monitor performance metrics, and contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and portfolio quality.
Qualifications
Proven experience in financial services sales, preferably in vehicle finance, home loans, SME loans, or related retail lending products.
Strong skills in team leadership, performance management, and mentoring sales professionals.
Ability to build and maintain customer and partner relationships, with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Competence in sales planning, forecasting, and analyzing market data to drive growth.
Familiarity with credit processes, risk assessment, and regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfort in presenting to internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in using CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and basic reporting dashboards.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with high levels of integrity and customer focus.
