Head of Procurement

Role Description The Head of Procurement is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading all procurement and purchasing activities across AiPhoneCaller. This position oversees end-to-end sourcing processes, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and ongoing supplier performance management. Daily responsibilities include developing and implementing procurement strategies, establishing policies and procedures, and driving cost optimization while maintaining quality and compliance standards. The Head of Procurement will collaborate with finance, operations, product, and technology teams to understand business needs, forecast demand, and align procurement plans with organizational goals. This role also includes monitoring market trends, managing procurement risks, and implementing tools and metrics to track supplier performance and procurement efficiency.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in Procurement and Purchasing, with the ability to design and manage end-to-end sourcing processes.
Strong skills in Supplier Management and Supplier Evaluation to build, maintain, and assess a reliable supplier base.
Proficiency in Contract Negotiation, including the ability to secure favorable terms and mitigate commercial and operational risks.
Background in strategic sourcing, cost analysis, and procurement planning within a technology or SaaS environment is beneficial.
Proven leadership experience, including managing teams, influencing stakeholders, and driving cross-functional initiatives.
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with comfort using digital tools and data to inform decisions.
Experience implementing procurement systems or ERP tools, and familiarity with compliance, legal, and regulatory considerations in procurement.
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are an advantage.
