Role Description The Assistant Manager Finance will manage day-to-day finance operations, including general accounting, reconciliation, and financial reporting for the Mumbai office. This role will support month-end and year-end closing activities, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant accounting standards. The individual will coordinate with cross-functional teams for invoice processing, vendor payments, revenue recognition, and audit requirements, while maintaining accurate financial records and documentation. This is a contract, on-site role based in Goregaon, requiring regular collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Qualifications
Strong skills in financial accounting and reporting, including ledger management, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business planning and performance tracking.
Experience with accounts payable and receivable processes, invoice management, vendor coordination, and revenue recognition.
Knowledge of taxation, compliance, and regulatory requirements relevant to Indian financial and accounting standards.
Ability to use ERP systems and finance tools; advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with business analytics are preferred.
5–6 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, ideally in a technology, SaaS, or fast-growing startup environment.
Professional qualification such as CA, CMA, MBA in Finance, or equivalent academic background.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative on-site environment.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present financial insights to non-finance teams.
