About Ionic Wealth
Ionic Wealth (by Angel One) is an AI-powered wealth management platform for High Net Worth Individuals
and the Relationship Managers who serve them. Clients get a unified view of their entire portfolio: mutual
funds, stocks, bonds, AIFs, PMS, unlisted with AI-driven insights and advisory. RMs run their entire book on
STORM, our in-house CRM. We're a small, fast team building an AI-native product from the ground up.
The Role
This is not a blank-page PM role and it's not a documentation role either.
You will take end-to-end ownership of live products that real clients and RMs use every day:
• STORM: our all-in-one RM platform, not just a CRM: inbuilt CRM (leads, client book, tasks, meetings),
user analytics, transaction capability, and an AI agent that works alongside the RM.
• The client app : the highest-impact surfaces of the Ionic Wealth experience: AI-powered portfolio
insights, exclusive product offerings (PMS, AIFs, unlisted/pre-IPO), Ionic Wealth AI (our conversational
AI advisor), plus portfolio dashboards, mutual fund onboarding, and transactions.
These products work, but they're far from done. Your job is to find what's broken, confusing, or
underperforming and fix it.
We work differently from most product teams. Here, PMs build before they write. When you have an idea,
you don't open a doc you open an AI tool and build a working prototype. You walk into the design and
engineering conversation with something clickable, not a 10-page PRD.
What You'll Do
• Own your surfaces. Be the person accountable for STORM and client-app modules - their quality, their
metrics, their roadmap.
• Find the problems yourself. Shadow RMs, talk to clients, dig through analytics and funnel data, read
support tickets, use the product daily. Build and ruthlessly prioritize a problem backlog.
• Prototype, don't just spec. Use AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, v0, Lovable, Figma, Make whatever gets
you there) to build working POCs of your proposed fixes and features yourself. Bring a demo to the
discussion, not a slide.
• Ship fixes and enhancements. Work with engineering and design from prototype to production. Keep
specs lean, just enough for the team to build the real thing from your POC.
• Measure and iterate. Define success metrics for everything you ship, track them, and go again when
the data says you're wrong.
What We're Looking For
• A builder's instinct. You'd rather spend two hours prototyping than two hours writing. You've already
built things with AI coding tools — side projects, hackathon demos, internal tools — and can show us.
• Ownership mindset. You treat the product like it's yours: you notice what's broken without being told,
and you can't leave it alone.
• Sharp problem diagnosis. You separate symptoms from root causes and can defend your prioritization
with data.
• Comfort with data. You can pull your own numbers. SQL or a strong willingness to learn it fast.
• 0–2 years of experience in product, engineering, design, analytics, or a strong portfolio of things you've
shipped on your own. Fresh graduates who build are very welcome.
Nice to Have
• Exposure to fintech, wealth management, or capital markets
• Experience working with or building on LLMs / AI agents
• Basic familiarity with how modern web apps are put together (APIs, frontend/backend split)
