About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Project Manager with 10+ years of experience in SAP project management, implementation, transformation, and global delivery.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing SAP implementations, upgrades, migrations, rollouts, and transformation programs across multiple countries and regions, with experience working across APAC, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas.
The candidate should be comfortable managing cross-functional and geographically distributed teams, working with international clients, and engaging with senior business and technology stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end SAP projects, including implementation, rollout, migration, upgrade, integration, and transformation initiatives.
Manage SAP projects across multiple countries, business units, and geographical regions.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, resources, and budgets.
Lead geographically distributed teams across India, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, the United States, and Canada, based on project requirements.
Coordinate SAP functional and technical teams across different workstreams.
Manage project scope, requirements, dependencies, risks, issues, change requests, and escalations.
Establish project governance, reporting structures, steering committee meetings, and project review mechanisms.
Act as a key point of contact for clients and senior stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage relationships with SAP implementation partners, system integrators, vendors, and third-party providers.
Monitor project performance against agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality, and business objectives.
Oversee testing, data migration, cutover, go-live, stabilization, and transition activities.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration across different countries, cultures, and time zones.
Prepare project status reports, dashboards, risk registers, and executive-level updates.
Identify and resolve delivery challenges proactively and escalate critical issues when required.
Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, governance standards, and quality processes.
Support continuous improvement and identify opportunities to optimize project delivery.
Participate in client meetings, solution discussions, project estimations, proposals, and pre-sales activities when required.
Global / International Experience
The candidate should have experience managing SAP projects across multiple international markets, with exposure to one or more of the following:
Asia-Pacific (APAC)
India, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, and South Korea.
Europe
United Kingdom, Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Ireland, and Poland.
Middle East
United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain.
Africa
South Africa, Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria, and Morocco.
Americas
United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.
International experience across multiple countries and regions is highly preferred, particularly experience managing multi-country SAP implementations and global rollout programs.
Required Qualifications & Experience
10+ years of overall IT experience, with significant experience in SAP Project Management.
Proven experience managing end-to-end SAP implementations, rollouts, upgrades, migrations, or transformation projects.
Experience managing projects involving multiple countries, teams, and stakeholders.
Strong understanding of SAP project lifecycle, implementation methodologies, governance, and delivery processes.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly preferred.
Good understanding of SAP functional and technical landscapes, integrations, data migration, testing, cutover, and deployment.
Experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.
Experience working with geographically distributed and multicultural teams.
Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience.
Experience managing SAP partners, system integrators, vendors, and third-party providers.
Ability to communicate effectively with business leaders, technology teams, and senior management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Certifications
PMP (Project Management Professional)
PRINCE2
SAP Project Management / SAP S/4HANA certification
Agile / Scrum certification is an advantage.

They should be capable of managing multiple workstreams, cross-functional teams, international stakeholders, clients, vendors, and SAP partners, while ensuring projects are delivered within agreed timelines, budgets, quality standards, and business objectives.
