Role Description The Social Media Marketing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing engaging social media content that showcases Pompee’s VFX and animation work across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and emerging channels. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing social media campaigns, optimizing posts for reach and engagement, monitoring analytics, and adjusting strategies based on performance data. The Social Media Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with the creative and production teams to align content with ongoing projects, maintain a consistent brand voice, and manage community interactions, including responding to comments and messages. The role also involves staying current with social media trends, competitor activity, and best practices in digital marketing to grow audience reach and strengthen brand visibility.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO), with experience managing brand presence across multiple platforms.
Ability to develop and implement effective Content Strategy aligned with marketing and brand objectives.
Proficiency in Digital Marketing fundamentals, including campaign planning, audience targeting, and performance tracking.
Excellent Communication skills, including clear writing, visual storytelling, and professional interaction with online communities and internal teams.
Experience using social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn analytics, third-party dashboards) to interpret data and refine campaigns.
Familiarity with visual and video-centric platforms and basic understanding of VFX/animation workflows to coordinate effectively with creative teams.
Ability to work on-site in Kochi, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in entertainment, media, or creative industries is an advantage.
